Jacqueline is an artist and educator born on the border of Paraguay and Brazil. A former CPA turned artist and activist, her work is rooted in healing and creative practice across mediums. Through painting, masks, altar installations, and 3D acrylics, she explores spiritual lineage and ancestral memory—creating a personal visual language that weaves Hispanic-Portuguese and Guaraní Indigenous iconography with acts of reverence.

Her work honors those who came before her and the rituals they carried, including her grandfather, a practitioner of folk medicine. Drawing from alchemical traditions, she builds contemporary sacred spaces that hold grief, celebration, and transformation. Jacqueline often incorporates astrological charts to guide the themes and symbolism of each piece, shaping artworks that are both intimate and ceremonial.

Grounded in the study of the natural world, her practice also extends her mother’s tradition of using dreams and visions as creative instruction. She regards the energies gathered at her altars as kin—companions and guides she returns to for grounding, clarity, and renewal.

Our contemplative practices wax and wane. Shiny tools and toys get rusty and dusty. Things that seem important fall by the wayside. We take the sacred for granted. We put our healing in a drawer to be forgotten. Wisdom that has been hard won and passed down at great personal cost sometimes ends with us.
