Altar Design
Everyone deserves their own space to think, pray, ponder, and worship, a dedicated sacred space to go back to your center.
I help design dedicated places to represent what is important is a reminder to slow down and cultivate the rituals in our lives.
Consider a private mentor session—no art experience is necessary.
Jacqueline is an artist, author, and educator, born on the border of Brazil and Paraguay.
A former CPA turned artist and nature activist, focused on supporting healing through all creative forms. She harnesses the person’s birth charts to determine what goes into each altar layout.
Using the medium of Altars, she unpacks her spiritual lineage through works that reclaim ancestral memory, hold space for reverence, and create a uniquely Hispanic-Portuguese and Guarani indigenous iconography.
Her Altar installations honor those who walked before her, who carried and sustained rituals from her ancestors, her grandfather who practiced folk medicine. It also borrows from various alchemical traditions to create her own sense of the sacred. Her roots are embedded in the study of alchemy and deepen her mother’s tradition of using dreams and visions to inspire her artwork. “I see the energy emanating from my altar as my kin, my friends, the ones that are rooting for me and that I go to when I’m either having a hard day or celebrating a win,” she concludes.
